ARE YOU PREPARED IN CASE DISASTER STRIKES?
Come to the timely meeting about emergency preparedness and safety
featuring representatives from Puget Sound Energy, Kirkland Fire Department and the City of Kirkland. Retired PSE lineman, Greg Parkinson, will
give us tips to deal with natural gas and high voltage safety. Helen
Ahrens-Byington, Deputy fire Chief and Emergency Manager of the City of
Kirkland, will share about fire safety and emergency preparedness. Stephanie Day, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for the Fire
and Building Departments of the City of Kirkland, will tell us how to prepare for emergencies as a neighborhood. Time will be provided for your
questions and Greg will end the program with an electrified model of high
voltage situations for those who want to stay.

We will also be voting on our new Everest Neighborhood
Association Board of Directors at this meeting. The following
