Association Mission Statement
Promote a sense of community among members and provide a forum for all issues affecting the neighborhood.
Association Aims
- Promote maximum participation by all members in all events.
- Provide a means for communicating issues between City Departments and the Neighborhood.
- Provide a forum for all members on Neighborhood issues.
- Monitor all issues that may affect the quality of life in the Everest Neighborhood.
- Communicate information to members.
- Organize members for action when appropriate.
- Foster neighborhood cohesiveness by sponsoring appropriate social events that include all members.
Board Issues Philosophy
The Board wishes to establish a tradition that avoids politicizing this organization and potentially dividing the Neighborhood. It is therefore the position of the Board that this Association should not take official stands on issues that do not directly affect the Neighborhood. The Board may at its discretion review any issue and a position on said issue may be taken if the Board so decides.
